One of the most inspirational fashion exhibitions! Containing works from some of the worlds most inspirational designers; from Issey Miyake to Junta Watanabe, Yohji Yamamoto to Rei Kawabuko.
For my current project I have designed a collection that has combined both origami and multifunction. The garment can be worn as full pieces or can be separated into a top and skirt. The multifunctional feature of the collection is that the pieces can also be used as floor and hanging origami lamps. Using inspiration from Issey Miyake and Hussein Chalayan, I combined both of their design ideas and create a multifunctional, origami inspired collection.
