PRINTED FABRIC

Just thought i'd post an image of the print thats on the fabric of the underskirt, as it was the main feature of my skirt.

I wanted the butterflies to appear like a hidden message, so that you had to look a certain way to work them out.... I then hid the print under the distressed fabric to disguise the images more and to represent the butterflies in a cocoon.

After all the hard work making fabric samples, printing, researching etc.... i decided i deserved to take a few shots of the final garment.

So my friends helped out by modelling and using their photography skills :)

Was so pleased with the outcome! I was spoilt for choice!

MY ORIGAMI HAIR PIECE :)

I stitched the paper flowers together and attached hair clips to the wire underneath that hold the petals together.

A statement hair piece :)

MY ORIGAMI DESIGNS....
For one of my tasks for my 3rd year, i had to learn how to make origami flowers as she wished to use these as accessories in the final photoshoot. After searching for some origami paper to work with, i thought of using paper from old books as her shoot is going to be in Temple Newsam and would fit the theme perfectly!
